The Show

'Trad on the Prom' is a contempory Irish Show featuring an electric mix of music, song and dance. It showcases the amazing talents of Mairin Fahy, featured soloist with "Riverdance" and "The Chieftans". Mairin is joined by her world class band and will feature special guests includng her broter Gerard Fahy, multi instrumentalist and director of Michael Flately's "Lord of the Dance".

The Band

The Trad on the Prom band comprises of the finest musicians on the Irish music scene today. Gerard Fahy on uileann pipes was the featured soloist and musical director with Michael Flatley’s ‘Lord of the Dance’. Most recently ‘The Boston Pops Orchestra’ has recorded his compositions.

Chris Kelly on guitar has recorded and produced many award winning albums since leaving ‘Riverdance’ and is one of the main tutors of guitar at the University of Limerick. Yvonne Fahy on accordion and percussion has performed with ‘Lord of the Dance’ and has won many All Ireland titles in music.

Brendan Hayes on keyboard fuses his jazz background with Irish music to produce a unique contemporary sound. On flute, banjo and additional percussion are guest musicians Brian Morrisey and Kieran Munnelly.

They are joined bydancers Cian Nolan,

Carney and Amy O’Rourke direct from
 ‘Lord of the Dance’ and ‘Riverdance’ 
and also young rising stars of the 
future, world champions Cathal and 
Fergal Keaney.
